Not notable. - Ta bu shi da yu 05:15, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- The dean of Columbia Law School is not notable but Hong Kong's metro stations are? Okay, it's a subsubstub but... KeepDr Zen 05:25, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, unless someone can show that he is independently notable in some way other than being the dean of Columbia Law School, or particularly notable as the dean in some way. (You might notice that the law school itself doesn't get its own article; the link in the previous sentence redirects to Columbia University.) -- Antaeus Feldspar 05:40, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- He should be interesting. He's extremely young for a law school dean -- all of 35 -- and is supposed to be one of the top (if not the top) authority on taxation and corporate governance. But damn, I couldn't find enough (in five minutes of googling) to write a paragraph on him that really showed his notability. But I'm not a lawyer nor a student of law; I bet someone could expand this article to show why this young man has gained such authority and responsibility (and, apparently, respectability). Improve. --jpgordon{gab} 23:33, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and expand. Radman1 16:32, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not notable (yet) --Improv 18:53, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, improve. And no, I will not improve it, I don't know anything about him, It isn't my job to improve every article in Wikipedia, yet I feel this article belongs D: —siroχo 10:08, Oct 30, 2004 (UTC)

Delete. At its current state the sentence (because it definitely isn't an article) is not notable or useful to anyone. If someone decides to write a proper article about him it is certain that he will already know that Mr. Schizer is the Dean of the Columbia Law School (which per se is not enough to make him article-worthy).OK, it is showing some potential now, but I still don't see much noteworthiness aside for being the youngest dean of CLS especially because (to me) it looks as if the article implies that his youth played an important factor in him being elected to the position of dean (looks as if there was a race - who will have the youngest dean). Of course, I could be mistaken. Weak Keep if it continues Improving.--Nought 02:58, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
DeleteKeep.Exactly what Nought said. I suspect this person may be notable enough for an article, but this substub is not helpful. Will change vote if the article is properly expanded during the vfd period. The prestige of the position and the exceptional youth of the occupant of said position meets a standard of notability I can live with. I hope the article will continue to improve. Indrian 01:59, Nov 1, 2004 (UTC)- Keep. Added enough to show noteworthiness. Took ten minutes. Should still be improved. Past voters, please examine new version and reconsider. Thanks Chrisvls 23:02, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
